McKeever Enterprises, Inc. It's been nearly a year ago that we were approached by your company about using the ReadyFUND$ payroll card. We had considered other payroll card programs but had never found one that met our needs until ReadyFUND$. We were most impressed by the fact that we could implement the program at no cost and that our employees could access 100% of their pay at no cost. Unfortunately, sometimes you get what you pay for, but with ReadyFUND$ this has definitely not been the case. We decided to pilot the program in one store to see how it would work. Our store manager felt it would definitely provide a nice benefit to our employees, some of whom are part time. This has proven to be true and our employees have responded very favorably to using the ReadyFUND$ card to receive their pay. It's also helpful that employees don't have to come into the store to pick up their paycheck and our customer service counter aren't interrupted multiple times on payday handing out paychecks. Our payroll department is centralized in our main office and they like the fact that the ReadyFUND$ card uses standard direct deposit just like any bank account, making it easy to integrate into our process. They've found using the secure online ReadyFUND$ client portal quick and convenient for registering new cardholders and accessing program information. After several months in our pilot store, we made the decision to roll out the program to all 9 of our stores. The operating margins in the supermarket industry are lower than many other types business and to be competitive, we need to be as efficient as possible. Using the ReadyFUND$ card to move toward electronic payroll is one more way for us to do this, and both our employees and the company are happy with the results. |
